Meet The Artist - Rachel Anderson

Hello!

I'm Rachel, I'm 25, and I'm the textile artist behind Contrary To Reason.

I started CTR in Oct 2019 (two years ago already!) after I completed my BA Hons in Textiles at Hull School of Art and Design.  

Then of course, six months after my graduation ceremony, the pandemic struck and we were thrown into what's now been over a year of lockdowns and restrictions. 

Since then I've been working hard, finally sorted out a couple of long time goals, including building this website and starting a YouTube channel to document the small biz juggle.

Recently I have also been offering my services as a creative consultant, helping new creative businesses get started, launch their stores and build their brands. 
i've also been offering my design services for already established brands, helping them create and design new products for their audience.  If that's something I can help you with, please do send me an email for a no obligation chat.

Over the next couple of years I really want to grow the business, get my artwork out into the world, and help more people start their own creative business journeys.
